Youth

7:00 PM | Wednesdays | Room 203

Heritage Youth exists to disciple our young people by building a solid foundation on God’s word, cultivating growth and kingdom identity, and releasing them to activate their spiritual gifts and impact culture. We’ve got an amazing team of young adults who are committed to blessing and equipping our student community. Students from 6th-12th grade are welcome to join.

Alpha Youth

We’ve spent a season in youth learning more about God’s word and pressing into worship, but we are excited to be starting a new series in which students will have a chance to ask questions about life and Christianity in small group discussions. For the next 13 weeks, we’ll watch a video about a topic such as life, Jesus, the cross, faith, prayer, the Bible, the Holy Spirit, healing, church, etc. Then we’ll break up into small groups and discuss what we watched and what questions we have.

Alpha is designed to be welcoming to those who might not know much about Jesus or Christianity, so this is a great place to start. We want to take advantage and really emphasize that students invite their friends or family members, as this can potentially change their life!

Krystal Klause

Youth Director

Krystal studied film at Biola University, but soon realized God was calling her to ministry and to invest at Heritage. She joined the staff in 2021 and her heart for young people led to her taking up the mantle of Youth Director. She also oversees the AV ministry and functions as a Communications Liason. She and her fiancé, Josh, are excitedly looking ahead to their March wedding!
