Monday, Jan. 2

Declaration- I declare that I am a child of God, chosen by Him before the foundation of the world. I am redeemed, holy, forgiven, and blameless in His sight. I am adopted and live for the praise of God’s glorious grace. All I have and all I am is for God. (Eph. 1)
Prayer- Salvations: Pray that all of the life-giving churches in our cities would see a dramatic increase in salvations this year. Pray specifically for the unsaved people who live on your street. Ask the Lord to draw them to Himself (2 Pet. 3:9).


Tuesday, Jan. 3

Declaration- I declare that I overcome the Devil and every attack against my life by the finished work of Christ on the cross and by the word of my testimony. Today will be a day of victory in my life. I belong to Jesus and His victory is my victory. (Revelation 12:11).

Prayer- Love for one another: Pray that we would love one another well; that it would be a sacrificial love – as Jesus modeled for us. Pray that our love for people would make Him famous in our region (Jn. 13:34-35, Mk. 12:31).


Wednesday, Jan. 4

Declaration- I declare that God is good in all His ways and His love endures forever.  In every area of my life, God is sovereign, He is good, and always at work. So today I completely entrust my life to Him. Thank You for Your goodness, Lord! (Psalm 136)

Prayer- Love for God: Pray that Heritage would be a church full of people who “love the Lord with all of our heart mind soul and strength” which is the first and greatest commandment (Mk. 12:29-30, Deut. 6:5). Pray that through our love for Him we will be passionate worshippers in spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:23-24).


Thursday, Jan. 5

Declaration- I declare that God has plans to prosper me and not to harm me, to give me a future and a hope. God will reveal Himself to me as I seek Him with all my heart. I accept and commit myself fully to God’s plan for my life. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Prayer- Spiritual Hunger: Pray for spiritual hunger to increase your life and in the lives of those around you. Pray that the Lord would break off apathy and that we would be marked by our zeal for Him (Rom. 12:11, Mt. 5:6, Ps. 42:1, Rev. 3:15-16).


Friday, Jan. 6

Declaration- My God is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. He is ruler of my life and I belong to Him. His Spirit lives within me and empowers me. I give my life to serve Him – my time, my talents and my treasures are for Him. I exist for His glory.  (Rev. 22:13)

Prayer- Generational Vision: Pray for no generation gaps at Heritage. Ask the Lord to help us to increase our effectiveness in passing our faith to the next generation. Pray that our youth would rise up into their God given destinies and serve Him with all of their hearts. (Deut. 6:7, 2 Tim. 2:2, Eph. 2:10)


Saturday, Jan. 7

Declaration- I declare that God is a wall of protection around my family, and the glory of God would rest upon and within them. I declare for my family members that God would bless them, enlarge their territory, let His hand be upon them, deliver them from evil, and free them from pain (1 Chron. 4:9-10, Zechariah 2:5)

Prayer- Holiness: Without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Heb. 12:14). Pray that we would better understand what it means to live holy lives. Pray for quick repentance.  Ask the Lord to help those who are stuck in habitual sin to break free. Thank Him for His grace and mercy (1 Jn. 1:9).


Sunday, Jan. 8

Declaration- I declare that today I will speak only words that build up and give blessing. I declare that I will do everything without complaining or arguing (Phil. 2:14), and my speech will be full of grace (Col. 4:6) and without negativity. I will live today for God’s glory.

Prayer- Revival: Pray for revival at Heritage. Pray that the Lord would stretch out his hand and do miraculous signs and wonders. Pray that He would help us speak the word of God boldly as we should and that we would see salvations daily (Acts 4:29-31, 2:47).

Monday, Jan. 9

Declaration- God, thank You that You bless me, and that I cannot earn Your blessings, but they are given as a gift through faith. I declare over my life that I have received every spiritual blessing from You. I am Your beloved child, adopted into Your family. (Eph. 1)

Prayer- Community: Pray that Heritage community groups would be full of the life of Jesus (Acts 2:42-47). Pray for group leaders: protection, anointing, and passion for Him. Pray that everyone at Heritage would be part of Christ-centered community.


Tuesday, Jan. 10

Declaration- I declare that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Today He will declare to me the truth that He receives from the Father. I glorify Jesus today through the work of the Spirit in me. (John 16:12-16) I receive the gift of the Holy Spirit within me (Acts 2:38).

Prayer- Outreach: Pray for the outreach ministries at Heritage; that we would be good at ministering to the needy around us (Mt. 25:31-46, Js. 1:27). Pray for the homeless outreach, our ministry to seniors, Musical Mentors, etc. Pray for fruitful ministry unto the Lord.


Wednesday, Jan. 11

Declaration- I declare that the Holy Spirit lives in me. I have been set free from the law of sin and death and I receive life in the Spirit (Romans 8:1-2). The Spirit renews my mind and produces thoughts of life and peace. (Romans 8:5-8). I am led by the Spirit, and He is at work within me (Romans 8:14-17).

Prayer- Kingdom: Pray for the Lord’s kingdom (rule and reign) to come and His will to be done in Heritage and our cities, just as it is in heaven (Mt. 6:10). Pray for many people to come to salvation and “enter the kingdom” (Jn. 3:15-16). Pray that we would see people coming to Christ every day (Acts 2:47).


Thursday, Jan. 12

Declaration- I declare that today my words will be an instrument of life and blessing to others, especially those closest to me. I set aside my speech to build others up, and not to tear down (Eph. 4:29). Give me Your words, Holy Spirit, that I will be Your mouthpiece today.

Prayer- Faith: Pray that we would be marked by having great faith (Heb. 11, Mk. 9:24). We know that without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). Ask the Lord to strengthen your faith in Him today (Mk. 9:23-24). When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:1-8).
Friday, Jan. 13

Declaration- I declare God’s blessing on the work of my hands and the harvest of my life. The Lord will lead me into the destiny He has for me.  Bless me so that I may overflow with blessings for people in need and the advancement of your kingdom (Deut. 28:8).

Prayer- Prodigals: The Lord has spoken prophetically to us that we will see “prodigal sons and daughters” return to Him.  Ask the Lord to continue to work in the hearts of prodigals and bring them back to Him. Pray that every last one comes home (Luke. 15:11-32).


Saturday, Jan. 14

Declaration- Read Deuteronomy 28:1-14 aloud as a declaration, replacing “you” with “I”.

Prayer- Families: Pray that the Lord would strengthen marriages and families. Pray that we would see the divorce rate drop dramatically in our area. Pray for breakthroughs in parenting that would grow into to a legacy of healthy and godly kids and families.


Sunday, Jan. 15

Declaration- God, I realize that I can undermine Your ability to bless me if I walk in willful disobedience. Show me any hindrances that keep me from Your blessings. Today I turn from (name it) and choose to stop sinning. I pledge obedience to You and receive your forgiveness and grace.

Prayer- Hillside Church: Pray for Hillside Church to prosper, to reach many for Christ in their area. Pray for Pastor Mike and Tammy as they lead: for vision, protection, courage, faith and joy. Pray for their opening service today.


Monday, Jan. 16

Declaration- Declare Isaiah 53: Jesus, You carried our sickness when You died on the cross. By Your wounds we are healed. I declare the healing power of the cross over the following people (list those who need healing). Release Your peace and provision in their lives.

Prayer- Spiritual Maturity: Pray that the people of Heritage would continue growing in spiritual maturity. Pray each person would learn what his/her giftings are and use them to build up the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:7, Eph. 4:11-13). Pray we would grow in knowledge and love for the Lord.


Tuesday, Jan. 17

Declaration- Holy Spirit, You are my Counselor. You teach me and remind me of God’s Word (John 14:16). You are my Comforter who comforts me in my troubles. Teach me to comfort others (2 Cor. 1:3-7). You are my Helper; I will not be afraid. You never leave me nor forsake me. I trust you completely (Heb. 13:5-6).

Prayer- Pentecost Power:  Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Spirit on God’s people. Pray that the church would walk in power, just as He has made available. Pray that every believer at Heritage would desire and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4).


Wednesday, Jan. 18

Declaration- Holy Spirit, You are my Strength. All of the power I receive comes from You. You help me to fulfill the calling on my life. (Acts1:8, Eph. 3:16). You are my Advocate and Intercessor. You defend me and stand with me. When I’m not sure how to pray, You intercede on my behalf (1 John 2, Romans 8:26).

Prayer- The Church: Pray for the Church that she would be strong and healthy. Pray that she would become all that our Father has created her to be – the glorious Bride (Eph. 5:27). Pray for missionaries and church planters all over the world – for safety, boldness, provision, anointing, and effectiveness.


Thursday, Jan. 19

Declaration- I declare that Jesus has defeated the Devil and every enemy is under His feet (sin, death, the Devil). You are risen from the grave, conquered death, and are seated at the right hand of the Father. I share in Your victory because I belong to You. You have given me the authority to overcome. (Col. 1:13, 2:15)

Prayer- Persecuted Church: Pray for the persecuted church around the world. Pray for the Lord’s protection and for boldness. Pray that the persecuted church would continue to thrive (Mt. 5:10). Pray for God to move powerfully in the 10-40 Window to bring salvation to the unreached people groups.


Friday, Jan. 20

Declaration- I declare You as Lord over my thoughts and words. You said that out of the overflow of a person’s heart, his mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). So I declare Your love and grace over my heart, and thus my words. Let me speak words of love and grace to everyone I encounter today.

Prayer- Government: Pray for the new president and administrative branch of the govt. that starts today. Pray for those in authority: local, state, and federal levels (2 Tim. 2:1-3). Ask the Lord to give them wisdom to govern righteously.  Pray for the protection of religious freedom.


Saturday, Jan. 21

Declaration- I declare over my life the words of Jesus on the cross: “It is finished.” I receive the finished work of Christ. I am forgiven and accepted by God. There is now no condemnation or shame for me. I am a new person in Jesus. My old nature is gone. (John 19:30, Rom. 8:1, 2 Cor. 5:17)

Prayer- Unity: Pray that the people of Heritage would be perfectly united with no divisions among us (1 Cor. 1:10). Pray that the Church of Jesus Christ all around the world would be united, that the world would know Jesus is from God. (1 Cor. 1:10, Ps. 133:1, Jn. 17:23).


Sunday, Jan. 22

Declaration- I declare that Jesus is the ruler of my life. You are the King of Kings. Yours is the kingdom, power, and the glory. I declare Your rule and reign over every aspect of my life – relationships, family, home, work, finances, health, mind, etc. Thank You for your blessings in my life.

Prayer- Abiding Joy: Pray that we would be good abiding in the Lord and that His joy would overflow from within us (Jn. 15:11). Pray that we, like Jesus, would have “the full measure of joy within us” (Jn. 17:13, Heb. 1:9). The joy of the Lord is your strength! (Neh. 8:10).
