Jeff was born in Prescott, Arizona, and grew up in Upland, California, with 4 siblings. He came to Christ while in high school, and went on to be a leader in Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a youth pastor to the staff of Koinonia Conference Grounds in Watsonville. He put his college degree in Graphic Design to use for 4 years as a short term missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators, then worked with Gospel Light Publications. In 1984 he became the Art Director of Surfer magazine and moved to San Juan Capistrano. As a member of Ocean Hills church he met Jim Glynn…later, when Jim founded House to House Christian Fellowship, Jeff and his wife Cathy, with their children Sarah and Trevor, joined the new church. Today Jeff continues his career as Design Director of The Surfer’s Journal and also MacGillivray Freeman Films. Cathy is working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, soon to be licensed. Trevor and Sarah are married, but live nearby and the family spends a lot of time camping, at the beach and doing creative projects. Jeff and Cathy have led small group bible studies for most of their married life, and are involved in mentoring young people.
