Christmas at Heritage 2021

We had a wonderful holiday season with our church family. The festivities kicked off with two weeks of ministry from special guest Mervis van der Merwe from South Africa. We had powerful times of worship and prophetic ministry both on Sundays and in small groups throughout the week. You can listen to the ministry times from November 30 and December 5.

The Crowell, Powell, and Jones families, as well as the future Mr. and Mrs. Klause blessed us in leading advent. With all the hustle and bustle around this time of year, it’s essential to refocus on the One who’s coming all of creation so greatly anticipated.

We also so enjoyed getting the opportunity to bless our community. We had a lunch at Bella Collina golf course with some of the young men in our congregation that serve in the Marines. It was so fun to treat them to a  beautiful day and get to know them better! Miriam Karn also spearheaded our Christmas Blessings outreach that provided over thirty children in our local community with awesome presents. It was such a blessing to partner with and connect to another body of believers at Salvos por Gracia church in San Juan Capistrano.

Our youth had a fun Christmas party as well with White Elephant and karaoke!

Our Christmas Eve services themselves were a reminder of the magnitude of Christ’s coming into the world. We wanted to look at Christmas from a fresh perspective, a heavenly perspective. The sanctuary was designed to evoke the heavens looking down on the little town of Bethlehem, with angels singing and rejoicing from above.
